“Not your Picasso” Crazy Face

                         Class  SUPPLY  list.

·       Photo (mug shot) of your face or the face you plan to portrait.

·       One fat quarter for background (can be pieced)

·       Assorted scraps of fabric for facial features and accessories; can use flowers, birds and animals, etc. We will share. (Tula Pink has some interesting ones). Include large pieces for face, neck and clothes. Faces can be skin tones, solids or tone on tone work well. Bring any selvages with verbiage.

·       “Steam a Seam” light. Needs to be the kind you can sew through.  MLF

·       Freezer paper, waxed paper or tracing paper and pencil

·       Medium to heavy weight fusible interfacing or stabilizer. MLF

·       Removable marking pen. Frixion or water solvable

·       Low loft batting slightly larger than fat quarter/background

·       Backing slightly larger than batting

·       Paper scissors and fabric scissors

·       Silicone pressing mat

·       Small personal iron and mat is hand

·       Black  thread

·       Assorted embellishments

·       Sewing machine and basic sewing supplies
