Mexican Star Class: Sept 2nd 10:00am - 3:00pm

Join Instructor, Dede for the Mexican Star Quilt class, pattern by Quilt in a Day, Eleanor Burns.  Traditional or modern, the Mexican Star Quilt is quick and easy in a planned or scrappy look.  The block tricks you into thinking it is set on point.  In class, you will learn the technique of piecing blocks and leave with at least 3 - 6 blocks completed.

Supplies needed for class:

Working sewing machine with electrical cord, foot pedal and 1/4" foot.  24 strips of 2-1/2" fabric, 1-1/8 yards of background, 1-1/4 yards of sashing and border.  Thread to match your fabric.  Sewing notions:  rotary cutter/mat, seam ripper, snips, pins or binder clips.
